Polychronis Dilaveris, MD, PhD, FESC, FEHRA, is Cardiologist – Electrophysiologist, Assistant Professor of Cardiology in the 3rd Department of Cardiology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Medical School, Sotiria Chest Disease Hospital, Athens, Greece. Past-Chairperson (2020-2022) of the e-Cardiology Working Group (WG) at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), fellow of the ESC (FESC), the European Heart Rhythm Association (FEHRA) and the International Society of Holter and Noninvasive Electrocardiology (ISHNE) and actively engaged in the e-Cardiology WG since 2016. He was Consultant Electrophysiologist in the 1st Department of Cardiology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Medical School, Hippokration Hospital, Athens, Greece, Director of the e-Cardiology Unit at the same Department and Founding Chairman of the e-Cardiology WG at the Hellenic Society of Cardiology. 

Dr. Dilaveris has been accredited in Cardiac Pacing and ICD implantation by the ESC in 2007, published 217 papers with 28,182 citations (Scopus) and a h-index of 41. He has also written chapters in four international books. He was member of the Task Force of the 2020 ESC Atrial Fibrillation Guidelines, member of the Review Team of the 2021 ESC Heart Failure Guidelines and Editor in national and international journals.
