Dr. Giacomo Bonacchi is a consultant cardiologist at Careggi University Hospital in Florence, Italy, where he works within the Cardiomyopathy Unit directed by Prof. Iacopo Olivotto, together with Prof. Maurizio Pieroni and Prof. Francesco Cappelli. He specializes in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiomyopathies. His main clinical and research interests focus on cardiomyopathies with hypertrophic phenotype, including hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, cardiac amyloidosis, Anderson–Fabry disease, and other inherited or rare myocardial disorders.
