Professor Eloisa Arbustini is an internationally recognized authority in inherited cardiovascular diseases and cardiovascular genetics. Based at the IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo, Pavia, Italy, she founded the Center for Inherited Cardiovascular Diseases, where she pioneered multidisciplinary precision medicine approaches integrating cardiology, pathology, genetics, imaging, and molecular diagnostics. Her work has significantly advanced the understanding of the genetic basis of cardiomyopathies and connective tissue diseases, contributing to the evolution of modern translational cardiovascular medicine.

Trained at premier international institutions, including the NHLBI in Bethesda and Stanford University, Professor Arbustini established one of Europe’s reference centers for inherited cardiovascular disorders.
