Elected Assistant Professor in Cardiology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece 

Alexandra A Frogoudaki, MD, MSc, PhD, FHFA, FESC, is Elected Assistant Professor in Cardiology. Currently, she is leading Adult Congenital Heart Disease Clinic and Inherited Cardiomyopathies Clinic at Second Cardiology Department, Attikon University Hospital, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Cardiology Boards obtained in Athens. Supported by two grants, she worked in London UK as a clinical and research fellow in the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Department, Royal Brompton, London, UK.

She worked as a research and clinical fellow to professors WJ McKenna and Perry Elliott at St George’s Hospital, London, where she did research and clinical work. 

Alexandra Frogoudaki’s special interest and research focus on heart failure in congenital heart disease, pregnancy and heart disease, peripartum cardiomyopathy, and inherited cardiomyopathies.

She has participated actively as speaker, chairperson, and commentator, in more than 200 congresses and conferences in Greece, Europe and United States. 

Author of 86 papers in peer reviewed journals, and multiple chapters in International and Greek International Cardiology Textbooks.

Reviewer in several international peer reviewed journals.
