Angeliki Papageorgiou graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Patras in 2014 and completed her residency in Cardiology at the Cardiology Clinic, University General Hospital of Patras in 2023. She holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathies from the University of Thessaly and completed a PhD in the School of Medicine, University of Patras in 2024.
In 2024, supported by a scholarship from the Hellenic Society of Cardiology, she worked at the Unit of Inherited and Rare Cardiovascular Diseases at the Onassis Hospital. In 2025, she continued in the same department as a member of the National Network of Precision Medicine in Cardiology and the Prevention of Sudden Cardiac Death in the Young. Currently, she works as a Fellow at the Unit of Inherited Cardiovascular Diseases at the Onassis Hospital.
Angeliki participated as a sub-investigator in multicenter studies, including GRECHO, OCEANIC-AF, and AFFILIATE. She has also been actively involved as an organizing committee member, speaker, and panelist in national (including Panhellenic Congress of Cardiology and the Annual Seminar of the Working Groups 2026) as well as international congresses, such as the ESC and EHRA Congresses since 2021. Finally, she has contributed to 26 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, including JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions and the Hellenic Journal of Cardiology.
