Sotirios Katranas, MD, PhD, is a cardiologist in private practice and holds a PhD in Cardiology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.). He serves as an Academic Associate for Cardiomyopathies (1st Cardiology Clinic, A.U.Th.) and Cardiac Diseases in Neuromuscular Patients (Neuromuscular Disorders Unit – MDA Hellas, 2nd Pediatric Clinic, A.U.Th.) at the AHEPA University General Hospital of Thessaloniki. He is also a Researcher in the Precision Medicine Network GR – iCardiacNet (1st Cardiology Clinic, A.U.Th.). He completed his postgraduate training in Cardiomyopathies at Saint Bartholomew’s Hospital and Royal Brompton Hospital in London, and in Cardiac Diseases of Neuromuscular Disorders at the Neuromuscular Complex Care Centre of the National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery in London.
