Dr Efstathios Papatheodorou, MD, PhD (London, UK), is a clinical and academic cardiologist specialising in inherited and rare cardiovascular diseases, cardiogenetics, and sports cardiology. He trained in Greece and the United Kingdom, including The Heart Hospital (UCL) and St George’s University Hospital, London, and completed a PhD at St George’s, University of London. He currently works at the Unit of Inherited and Rare Cardiovascular Diseases at the Onassis Hospital, Athens, and is actively involved in the Greek National Network for Precision Medicine in Cardiology and Young Sudden Cardiac Death Prevention. His research focuses on inherited cardiac diseases, sports cardiology, and precision medicine, and he has published extensively in leading international cardiovascular journals.
