Dr Bonios earned his MD from University of Athens Medical School, Athens, Greece and his PhD from the same Institution. He completed a research Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland, USA, on in vivo stem cell Imaging and an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Clinical Fellowship at University of Utah Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. He is currently the Head of Advanced Heart Failure – Transplantation at Onassis Hospital, Athens, Greece and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of Utah.
